Theistareykir Geothermal Area

Þeistareykir used to be a peaceful valley in the middle of nowhere with only bubbling colorful mud pools and not a soul out there (apart from a very few photographers). But things changed a lot unfortunately since the energy companies started to build an ugly and noisy geothermal power plant there.
