Last month Steffen and I took quite a lot of images, but mainly
at night. Colorful Northern Lights danced beautifully across the
skies and the snow-covered Icelandic landscape provided the
perfectly setting for these incredible shows.
While the other Iceland galleries are still under "severe construction", we updated one of our all [...]
While Steffen and I are still working on all the new images from our latest trip to the United States in February/March, we also paid a visit to the checkered lilies that grow on a meadow right here at our hometown Dresden. The "Fritillaria meleagris" (also called "snake's head" or simply "fritillary") is an endangered species, rarely found in the wild. They can be [...]
Here comes another totally reworked "Personal Favorites" album, featuring our favorite images from the Western US taken over the last 15 years. We tried to showcase the beauty and the diversity of the landscape: the dry Mojave Desert, the Red Rock Country with its incredibly eroded sandstone arches, hoodoos and slot canyons, the wildflowers of Southern California, the "Indian Summer" in the Rockies, as well as the lush [...]
We've made a major update at our "Best of Iceland" gallery. The album contains more than 150 of our favorite images, all of them were taken during the last 2 years in Iceland. Besides that, we already added a lot of the new aurora images from our trip in February/ March 2015 to the "Northern Lights" gallery.
Feel free to check out and we hope [...]
We spent the last weeks in the US Southwest, enjoying the nice weather in San Diego, having fun with a dear friend at New Year's Eve in Sedona, shooting the snow-covered Red Rocks in Moab etc etc. New images coming up soon, the new travel guide is already out now (but in German language only): [...]
Currently we are redesigning our website. A lot of new (larger-sized) images from Iceland will be coming up during the next months from our summer tour in June/July 2013 and fall colors tour in September 2013. Among them many new locations and also many aerial images. Please stay tuned!
We spent 10 days in Iceland in late March and published more than 90 images from that trip.
It is all about ice & snow (icy waterfalls, ice caves, small and big icebergs etc). But we visited also some amazing geothermal areas (geysers, springs, mud pools, fumaroles etc.) and we also saw some really nice auroras.
Hope you enjoy our Iceland Photo Gallery!
We are happy to announce the release of a new gallery, our NEW WORK 2012 featuring many works from our travels throughout last year:
