ALABAMA HILLS on CHRISTMAS EVE 2018

This month's image was taken three years ago. It shows Cyclops Arch, one of the largest natural arches at the Alabama Hills right at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada.
We stayed at Lone Pine that night and we wondered why Santa Claus forgot to fill our stockings. Did he think that the dramatic sunset we had on Christmas Eve at the Alabama Hills was gift enough for us? Well, he was probably right... ;-)
